HOBOT Technology Inc. Wins 2021 A’ Design Awards for its LEGEE 7 Vacuum Mop Robot and HOBOT-388 Window Cleaning Robot

HOBOT Technology Inc., the Taiwan-based company specialized in household robotic cleaning products, has received two A’ Design Awards, the world's largest and most prestigious design award, in the Home Appliances Design Category for its LEGEE 7 Vacuum Mop 4-in-1 Robot and the HOBOT-388 Window-cleaning Robot.

The HOBOT-388, a Bronze Award winner, is a window-cleaning robot that employs biomimicry design concepts to simulate 2 specific human actions of cleaning windows. First, it carries an ultrasonic spray nozzle that nebulizes water into 15μm particles, imitating people blowing a breath onto glass before cleaning it. Second, it runs in an inter-rotational movement, also imitating the rotational hand movement of people to clean stubborn dirt on the glass. With reusable microfiber cleaning cloths and the capability to clean 1m2 with only 1ml water, the HOBOT-388 is truly an eco-friendly smart home appliance.

Dedicated to the mission, “MAKE YOUR HOME SMARTER,” HOBOT Technology Inc. has put continuous effort into developing proprietary technologies; today, the company holds patents in various countries and has received numerous global awards. By integrating IoT and smart home technology, HOBOT engineers are building practical and innovative products that redefine the way people clean. The team is delighted to have won 2 international awards in a row and hopes to continue making a mark in the domestic robot industry.
